Made Wijaya is southeast Asia's most successful landscape architect and designer. Made Wijaya has lived and worked in Bali for nearly thirty years. A recognized authority on tropical gardens and architecture, he has written many books on the subject, among them Architecture of Bali, also published by Thames & Hudson. Wijaya also lectures on landscape design at the National University of Singapore, encouraging a new generation of architects and designers to view the making of tropical gardens as an art form.
