　　本教材是美國Pierre David教授20餘年從事「國際物流」教學的結晶，配合大量的圖表和實例，對國際物流中各個要素(國際合同、國際貿易條款、國際運輸等)進行了詳盡的描述，已被美國多數商學院選為「國際物流」課程的教材。PierreDaVid教授與具有多年豐富海上運輸實踐經驗的RiChard Stewan教授聯手合作，於2006年12月完成了對本教材的再版。新版教材中融入了Stewart教授在國際海運和國際保險中的實務經驗，並對第1版教材進行了大量的增補。　　
　　本教材適合作為高等院校物流專業研究生或高年級本科生的國際物流教材，也可作為企業國際物流、國際貿易的培訓教材。
